This system is one of the most preferred products of designers due to its seamless smooth appearances. The lattice shaped structure is high on strength and is easy to repair. The installed ceiling has a prominent effect on the interiors and offers easy cleaning, non-static properties and inert material. The ceiling can optionally be installed with a rigid grid suspension system, which is particularly advantageous for external applications. Lighting, air-conditioning and other fixtures can be easily installed on these systems.

The Clip-in system consists of square tiles or rectangular panels, which can be clipped on to carriers which are profiled to receive the tiles. Two sides of each tile are raised and pipped and stopped to ensure positive engagement into the spring tee and yet allow for the demounting of individual tiles or panels.

The Tiles are made of Steel or Aluminium on sophisticated equipment, which includes several leveling stages. The tiles can be coil coated or powder coated in multiple colors. These tiles can also be made in attractive surface profiles besides the normal flat profile.

The perforated panels of Metacil tile can be used to alter the acoustic performance characteristics and where soundproofing and insulation are important. The perforations are normally of dia 2.5 mm and 5.5 mm c/c but different sizes are also possible so suit specific design or functional needs. The tiles / planks can be backed with 25 mm thick resin bonded mineral wool (48 kg/m2) to provide good sound absorption Tiles and Planks are also available with a factory applied acoustic tissue to the backside for good sound absorption and a fire resistant tissue. The Acoustic properties of these options are given below.
